Credential Requirements

To earn the Pitt Global Distinction, undergraduate students complete the following:

Enrollment Form
Credits of global course work (international/area/thematic studies courses) 
Global events or activities
High-impact global experiences
Beginner (complete one):
- First-year seminar
- Living Learning Community (Casa Cultural, Global Village)
- Writing-intensive course
Advanced (complete one):
- Service/community-based learning
- Study abroad
- Undergraduate research project
- Internship (at home or abroad)
- Capstone course or project
Reflection (unless pursuing a capstone)
