Communication: How to Write a Proper Email

Fuel & Focus: Nutrition Strategies for Academic Success
Tuesday, March 24

Designed specifically for on-campus resident students, this “Fuel & Focus” session blends foundational nutrition education with practical tools for navigating the campus food landscape.
You will learn how to make balanced food choices when dining on campus, with a focus on how and where to use each part of the campus meal plans, an overview of helpful campus resources, and strategies for supplementing the meal plan to fit individual needs and preferences.
This workshop also includes a hands-on demonstration of easy, affordable recipes you can prepare right in your residence hall room, perfect for students looking to build healthy habits that fit campus life.

This “Fuel & Focus” workshop is tailored for off-campus and upper-class students who are navigating cooking for themselves and looking to support their health and academic success through better nutrition.
The session will provide core nutrition guidance along with practical tips for grocery shopping, planning low-cost, balanced meals, and setting up your first kitchen.
You will also participate in a hands-on cooking skills demonstration, showcasing simple techniques and approachable recipes to build confidence in the kitchen.

Ask a Therapist is a drop-in service that offers informal, confidential consultation with a clinician from the University of Pittsburgh Counseling Center. These consultations are free for all enrolled University of Pittsburgh students.
Students often use Ask a Therapist to get support with a specific problem and/or to learn more about services at the University of Pittsburgh Counseling Center. Consultations are typically 10-15 minutes long and are offered in-person.
