Academic Interest Areas
Interest areas are groups of majors and certificates that fall under one bigger academic domain. Interdisciplinary Distinctions
Distinctions are credentials which incorporate a curated, synergistic combination of curricular, co-curricular, and experiential learning activities that support growth and development in particular interdisciplinary areas. Pitt currently has five different offerings that blend a sequence of courses with high impact activities outside the classroom.
