Mike joined the Pre-Health Resource Center in May 2025.
In this role, Mike will oversee the PHRC’s excellent team of advisors and its portfolio of programming. In addition, he will continue to grow the PHRC’s connections to the health science disciplines across campus to better serve students in our health-related academic programs as they navigate their undergraduate studies and beyond.
Mike grew up in Pittsburgh and studied English at Juniata College. He went on to complete a master's degree in education at James Madison University and a doctorate in social and comparative analysis in education at the University of Pittsburgh.
Prior to joining the Pre-Health Resource Center, Mike served as the Director of Academic Advising at the Community College of Allegheny County. He lives in Dormont with his wife and daughter, and their two cats, Dapper and Daisy.
