Natasha previously served as the Academic Coordinator for the TRIO McNair Scholars Program. Before joining the Student Success Team, she worked as the Assistant Director of Career Services at the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs from 2015 to 2022. Her extensive experience in mentorship, guidance, and educational support has had a significant impact on students’ lives, and we are confident that the team will continue to greatly benefit from her expertise.
In her role as Senior Coordinator for Academic Intervention, with a focus on the Pitt PRSSIM Project, Natasha will help the Student Success Team enhance our services to the regional campuses, focusing on amplifying holistic support and interventions for rural and at-promise student populations as we expand our reach to the regional student audience.
Natasha’s honors in non-profit and education sectors include the Pittsburgh Courier Fab 40 in 2018 and The Incline: Who’s Next 2019 Education Award. She was also nominated for University of Pittsburgh’s 2023 First-Year Program Instructor of the Year award. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication and business and master’s degree in business administration.
In Natasha’s spare time she volunteers at The Neighborhood Academy and Sacred Heart Elementary schools. Further, she works with students to review resumes and cover letters, locate internship opportunities, conduct mock interviews, and participate in panel discussions for campus events.
