Why I Chose Pitt: I chose Pittsburgh because I really liked the city and its location. There are a lot of fun things to do, and it’s also close to one of my favorite museums, Carnegie Museum of Natural History, which made it feel like a great fit for me.

Why I Chose Pitt: There are unlimited opportunities to find close-knit communities within the larger, diverse city of Pittsburgh. The Kessler and Provost programs were amazing resources offered to me by Pitt that allowed me to thrive and explore my interests. Why I Chose Pitt: I chose Pitt because I had heard fantastic things about its public health program, from research and study abroad opportunities to a supportive faculty community and strong pre-professional development. I had never been to Pittsburgh before, but I knew I wanted to study in a dynamic urban environment, and Pitt felt like the perfect place to be for college.

Why I Chose Pitt: I chose Pitt as I loved the atmosphere of Pittsburgh as it still gave me the feel of the NYC while not being as busy as NYC is. Even more than that everybody that I met from the tour groups to actual students and faculty have all been so warm and welcoming that it made the transition to college less frightening.

Why I Chose Pitt: I chose Pitt because it felt like home as soon as I arrived on campus for my visit. I could see myself walking to Cathy for class, grabbing food with friends, and enjoying the good weather in Schenley Plaza. I also fell in love with the athletic side of Pitt and the way everyone rallied for the varying collegiate teams.

Why I Chose Pitt: I chose Pitt because of the incredible opportunities it offers for psychology majors. From a multitude of research opportunities at the undergraduate, graduate, and medical school level to its emphasis on hands-on internship experiences in the city, I knew Pitt would give me a well-rounded education that would take me far. As someone who lives outside of the U.S., I also chose Pitt because I knew its city location would always have something for me to do even outside of campus.

Why I Chose Pitt: I chose Pitt partly because of how close it is to home but also the academic opportunities. I am in a major that I didn't even know was an option prior to coming to Pitt. Also that Pitt is a city campus. There is so much to do within Oakland but also different neighborhoods around.
